Now in its 15th year, the World Architecture Festival (WAF) is one of the premier industry events, bringing in thousands of us together to celebrate, collaborate and inspire. The WAFX Award recognizes cutting edge designs that tackle issues of deep societal impact. With that in mind, it is no surprise that our work has caught the attention of this global festival. Along with Stantec Architecture and Two Row Architect, BDP Quadrangle has won a WAFX Award for Toronto’s Indigenous Hub!

The Hub will not only serve as a welcome addition to downtown Toronto for its eye-catching design, it will also be a place of learning, a place of healing and a place to call home.

Being one of the 20 recipients of the WAFX Award, Toronto’s Indigenous Hub is also nominated for the overall festival award that will take place from November 30th to December 2nd, 2022 in Lisbon, Portugal. We are grateful to be listed among so many other great submissions and thank our partners for making this project a reality.
