In preparation for next month’s 2015 Pan Am and Parapan Games, Infrastructure Ontario, TO2015 (the Games Organizing Committee) and other partners commissioned the construction of four new world class sports and training venues: the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre; the CIBC Pan Am / Parapan Am Athletics Stadium; the Tim Hortons Field; and the Cisco Milton Pan Am / Parapan Am Velodrome.

Infrastructure Ontario hired Quadrangle to serve as the accessibility consultants to ensure that the new facilities were highly accessible sport and recreation venues. For each project, Quadrangle introduced innovative accessible features throughout the venues, to create both attractive and intuitive environments accessible to the widest group of empowered users possible.

We had a chance to photograph the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre and the Cisco Milton Pan Am / Parapan Am Velodrome in advance of the games.
