Anna chose to pursue architecture because it is a profession that fully utilizes both the creative and rational aspects of the intellect.
Anna currently leads the refurbishment and adaptive reuse of North York’s Yonge Sheppard Centre, one of Toronto’s largest ongoing mixed-use developments. She has served as project architect for a number of complex multi-building projects, including the ONroute service centres along Ontario’s 400 and 401 highways, and Downtown Markham, a major mixed-use community being developed near the Rouge River. Anna was also an integral part of the Planning, Design and Compliance team that prepared standards for the construction of the Athletes’ Village of the 2015 Pan/Parapan American Games. She has worked on a wide range of commercial broadcast, residential, seniors’ residential, adaptive reuse and retail projects. As the firm's Business Head, she manages operations and finance, ensuring the studio is well run and also works closely with the Studio Head to ensure that the strategic direction set for the studio is delivered.
