Gloucester Transport Hub

Location: Gloucester, UK
Client:
Gloucester City Council
Completion:
2018

A nexus for buses and taxis, opposite the city’s railway station, The Gloucester Transport Hub regenerates the neglected King’s Quarter sector and sets a new standard for the area’s future rehabilitation. The fully accessible station is distinguished by its undulating roof that references Gloucester’s aviation history, and lightwells that illuminate specially commissioned stained-glass panels depicting a historic timeline of the cathedral city.
