619 Queen Street West

Location: Toronto, Canada
Client:
Hullmark Developments
Completion:
2016

Replacing a historic building destroyed by fire, this new two-storey retail and commercial building evokes the memory of its predecessor using a perforated stainless steel screen. With apertures cut to create the illusion of the former façade, this unique design evokes a vision of the past while granting tenants additional natural light.

Clean and minimalist, Hullmark’s offices play with the contrast of light and dark through distinct geometric forms. Private offices, meeting rooms and dividers provide functionality on each side of the office, creating an open path for light, collaboration and creativity through a central work zone.
