Director of Innovation Michelle Xuereb and Senior Associate Dev Mehta spoke with the Toronto Star recently about their forward-looking concept for multi-unit residential design. The concept project, Rethinking Multi-Unit Residential Design: imaging the future of living, offers solutions to the pain points often experienced due to the realities of shrinking condominium and apartment square footage in the city.

As Michelle says, “The price of land is getting more expensive, the City of Toronto will continue to grow and the cost per square foot is not going down. Affordability is a major problem in urban centres around the world and that’s why units keep getting smaller.”
