The winners of the 2019 ARIDO Awards have been announced and Quadrangle is pleased to share that Artscape Daniels Launchpad and OCAD U CO have both won Awards of Merit in the Workplaces and Public Institutional Spaces categories, respectively.

Artscape Daniels Launchpad is a 35,000 sf co-working facility for artists that inspires creativity and professionalism in equal measure. Launchpad contains an array of distinct workshops, cutting edge studio spaces and editing suites, quirky meeting rooms, a flexible social commons, event space, and Artscape's new headquarters, with the 90+ rooms unified by a single connecting corridor.

OCAD U CO is a 13,000 sf executive training hub where public and private sector clients can draw upon OCAD's design thinking to drive innovation at their companies. The space uses energizing jolts of colour such as a bold orange ceiling and seven-foot-high letters CO in hot pink. Black and white pixelated tiles are also strategically incorporated to make a psychological connection between OCAD's new space and the iconic Sharp Centre of Design.

Among the most highly regarded honours for the profession, the ARIDO Awards recognize excellence, innovation and creativity in interior design.
