Quadrangle, in collaboration with the Urban Leadership Institute, organized a hard hat tour of the Yonge Sheppard Centre, an upcoming large scale mixed-use development that encompasses affordable rental replacement housing, revitalized retail component, a purpose-built rental tower, public spaces, as well as enhancements to the public realm. Led by Andrew Duncan, SVP Developments at RioCan, and Anna Madeira, Executive Principal of Quadrangle, the tour walked the group through many layers of the complex revitalization process that will greatly enhance the value of this prime site.

During the tour, the group witnessed the modern glazed storefronts and new black weatherproofing primer on the existing office towers in anticipation of new cladding, as well as construction of a new rental tower and completed rental replacement units. Inside, they were given a tour of the bright, modernized atrium with prominent retail spaces as well as an extensive food court that reflects the diversity of the neighbourhood.
